A scarce and charming pattern produced just prior to President Henri Christophe's elevation as King of Haiti. Mostly chocolate brown with cupric accents at the legends, the obverse surfaces are noticeably watery, while the higher points of the bust suggest an irregularly worn obverse die. Sold with old Henry Christensen dealer tag.
