SICILY, Thermae Himerenses. Circa 360-350 BC. AR Didrachm (7.89g). Head of Hera right, wearing stephane decorated with three palmettes. Rev. Herakles seated left on rock draped with lion's skin, with club in right hand; bow and quiver behind. Jenkins 7 (same dies). Very rare. Old cabinet tone. Some light corrosion, otherwise, good very fine. Privately acquired from Frank Sternberg
