ATTICA, Athens. Circa 460-455 BC. AR Tetradrachm (16.78g). Transitional type. Head of Athena right, wearing crested Attic helmet decorated with three olive leaves and a spiral palmette on the bowl. Rev. Owl standing right, head facing, split tail feathers; olive sprig and crescent to left. Starr 130; Dewing 1859. Lightly toned. Minor crystallization, otherwise, choice extremely fine
